Tampere Supercross, now being held for the twelfth time, has a new main partner this year, as Finnish technology company Novatron joins the event as its official main partner. Novatron develops, manufactures and supplies measurement equipment and software designed to improve productivity and quality in infrastructure construction. In addition to serving as the event’s main partner, Novatron will also play an important role in building the race track. The company’s Xsite 3D machine control system enables excavator operators to work efficiently and accurately both outdoors and inside an arena. “We at Novatron are really excited about this partnership. Motorsport is very close to our hearts, as well as those of many of our customers in the earthmoving industry. As a partner, we want to help make this an unforgettable event,” says Harri Virtanen, Novatron’s Sales Director in Finland. Tampere Supercross promoter Jani Hovi is also naturally very pleased with the new partnership. “Having a technology company like Novatron as the event’s main partner highlights the fact that Tampere Supercross is much more than just a supercross race.
