Novatron Oy’s new Board of Directors began its work in full in August 2026. New members were appointed to the board early in the year, and the lineup was finalized over the summer. The new board consists of professional board members and technology industry executives with extensive experience, who will strengthen the company’s governance and strategic direction.

Jori Mylläri, M.Sc. in Business Administration, has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer of Novatron Oy, effective August 17, 2026. Mylläri will take the lead in driving the international growth of Novatron Oy’s machine control and software business.

Geolaser Oy is a Finnish surveying equipment company founded in 2012. Its operations include the import, sale, maintenance, rental, user training, and software services for products related to land and construction surveying. Geolaser is, among other things, the importer and exclusive distributor of GeoMax International GmbH products in Finland. Following the acquisition, Geolaser Oy and its business operations will become part of the Novatron Group, a Nordic group specializing in technology solutions for the infrastructure sector, operating in Finland and Sweden.

The latest update to Novatron’s Xsite 3D machine control system includes Auto-logging feature that assists excavator operators during dredging work. The feature is particularly useful in work phases where the bucket movements cannot be seen directly from the cab – in dredging work and other waterway or shoreline construction applications. The system displays the work area as a real-time color map, making it easy to see the progress of the work at a glance.

When Tamtron, a leading provider of advanced weighing solutions, started to develop the product, the company turned to Novatron for specific expertise in the field of sensor technology and processing the weighing information on machine control software.

From March 19th, 2026, onwards, Novatron Oy and Novatron Sweden AB can be reached through the group’s joint website at the new address novatron.com. The website is available on English, Finnish and Swedish languages. The domain change includes new emails. The new email format for Novatron group’s personnel is firstname.lastname@novatron.com.
